Daniel E. Duir E-Mail: dduir@parke-guptill.com Dan Duir has eighteen years’ experience in public accounting, including nine as a partner. He has dealt with business and individual clients in all phases of accounting, auditing, income taxes, consulting, and planning.
Education Mr. Duir received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Cal Poly Pomona in December 1984.
Experience Dan started in public accounting in May 1985 at a local CPA firm in La Habra, California. He eventually moved on to another CPA firm in El Monte, California, where he was promoted to partner. In 1999, Dan left public accounting for a position as CFO/Controller for a small service company. But his passion and heart was still to be a CPA and dealing with clients, and he decided to come back into public accounting with Parke, Guptill & Company, LLP in July 2001.
He is the Quality Control Coordinator responsible for advising on the firm's compliance with professional standards.
Professional Organizations Mr. Duir is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.
Community Involvement Dan currently resides in Claremont with his wife Kelly and their three sons, Christopher, Timothy, and Alexander. Kelly is a substitute teacher with the Claremont school district. The Duir family is involved in several sports, school and community activities, as well as a local children’s theatre group. Besides keeping busy with the boys’ activities, the Duir family enjoys movies, music, comedy, travel and eating out. |
