Internships: As an intern, you have the opportunity to apply your accounting education while learning about the inner-workings of a successful CPA firm. You will learn about our people, environment, methodologies and technologies. You’ll see first-hand why clients throughout California hire Parke, Guptill & Company, LLP, CPAs to serve their accounting needs. Your internship might involve research, client service in audit or tax engagements, and applying some of the analytical and problem-solving skills that you have learned in school (such as analyzing internal control systems, cash, accounts receivable and accounts payable). Much of your development will come from on-the-job experience. Also, you will have at least forty hours of qualifying professional training each year, through in-house staff training, professional organizations and outside seminars and conferences. We make use of courses conducted by the American Institute of CPAs, California Society of CPAs and other organizations. |
